Ashtray & Cigar Lighter?

According to the UK Toyota website the Lc4 (VX) and all models come with a cigar lighter and ashtray......

When I purchased my 1 yr old 150 Lc4 a year ago (from a main dealer) the ash tray was missing - its one of those moveable plastic cylinder jobbies which was replaced but I have no cigar lighter and I have no idea where it would go......?

Do your Aussie models come with such and if so where on earth is the cigar lighter (not that I smoke in the car - but it can be useful when ones lighter gives up....)

There is a 12V socket (with a spring operated cover) located next to the USB port in the center console behind the hand brake on the Aussie GXL. There is no lighter as such or ashtray.

lighter and ashtray is now an option in many cars sold in australia, its funny 20-30yrs ago aircond was a premium option and you got ciggi lighters and ashtrays in everydoor for free, now you pay extra for these items and aircond is a standard item
