Reading 150 series ECU

I would like to be able to read info from the GXL's ECU. I know pretty much nothing about this but suspect that Toyota use OBD-II?

If this is correct, has anyone looked at IOS apps that can read this data? One that I have found is DashCommand which is also available for Android:

Has anyone used this software or hardware?

Is this the correct hardware for the Prado?

Don't know about the above but you can use a scangauge or Dashdyno Pro. Lots of info on scangauge on this site. For info on Dashdyno pro refer following link:

I have asked the same question somewhere else, but has any one figured out if you can get engine oil temp on a scangauge running v4.02?
