100% approved!! Finalized on Monday.

Well done mate! Your gonna love it. I got the chance to rack up some k's today and Im really enjoying this Prado more than I expected.

Sunshine Coast played host to a Home Show/Caravan and Camping Expo this weekend so I braved the wet conditions and went along for a look. All the usual players were there and I had the liberty of quizing the guys at ARB and TJM regarding some future purchases. Even checked out some camper trailers. Looking forward to some family trips this year now.

Its funny, I used to live near Aldinga Bch when I was a kid, then to Christies and down to Goolwa. I went to school at Victor Harbour.

Left there in 87' for the Sunny Coast when I was 15 and havent moved since...Ive still got family down your way that I visit from time to time.

Will be my first year, so don’t know what to expect. Other than that between now and then I’ll take any excuse to get dirty. Grow up around Hervey bay and have family there still so a Fraser trip will be on the cards.

Bummer.....Skytrek looked pretty good on the Pat Callinan video.

I'd really like to take the car to Fraser but I just cant get my head around driving this car on the beach just yet.

Been there 5 times in the past in my trusty Hilux back in the 90's, will have to look into these Electronic Rust Prevention kits me thinks.

Rust? Beach? Here is what happens when you take a V6 Rav4 to the beach.. Even with 1inch bigger AT3 tires it still went belly up. Is rust a problem on newish cars?

Did some reading and I conclude the electronic rust protection is bogus. I would hope that it comes with some kind if "insurence policy" that you can fall back on.

I put all these products in the same basket, like extended warranty, soil guard ect it plays to the minds of people who just paid what to them is massive amounts of money for an item and the "protection" is so small in comparison you would be silly not to get.

This is just my personal experience, I'm surprised the ACCC hasn't tried to crush these people. I for one never take out extended warranties and when shit breaks it just takes a letter to the ACCC to get things fixed

THURSDAY! grrr because of all the drama they put a stop on the car and didn’t put the wheels, tint or anything on the car. now i have to wait till Thursday.

also they gave us a shitbox rolla to drive around in while..

They say good things come to those who wait.....Its kinda true, the Prado is a much better car than I imagined. The ride quality really took me by surprise as I only remembered the 200 series being great. Little things like the courtesy lights that come on in the cabin and underneath the car as you approach it at night without touching anything! I tell my kids that I have jedi powers and I now wave my hand across the car just before I unlock it lol. The keyless entry and start are a true bonus.

The GPS is one of the most practical of any Ive used to date, its actually brilliant along with the audio system.

I cant wait to go for a tour in this car, I can imagine it being a pleasure to drive long distance in. Your gonna love it my friend!

We took one for a long drive into barossa and the difference was unbelievable to the altitude, I'm just hoping I made the right decision in getting the rims swaped for 17s with coopers AT/3s. I seen someone painted there rims black, wouldn't mind doing that. Maybe a black hamertone or flat.
Found out the rear shock on the rav is bleeding so need to waste money on that with some coilovers

Haha! well done mate! Glad you finally got it.

Im glad you posted the pic of the new tyres, Ive got some 18's in them coming any day now. They must be popular as mine are on back order.

I cant stop driving mine, I bet you'll be the same for a couple of weeks too.
