I would back the not much more than a GXL of equivalent age and k's

I bought my GXL brand new cheaper than people had theirs at a higher price for a second hand unit....

the cloth trim is probably worth more than that leather...

entertainment system maybe, sunroof is definitely a positive.

but yeah in reality... it's not going to be worth much more than a GXL.

Yes I am selling two Prados. A old 90 series GXL and potentially this.

Not yet. Just trying to determine the best course of action.

I suppose it depends on what people are looking for. I had a GXL for just on 60k and elected to pay the extra money for the Altitude.

If yours is the only Altitude for sale then you should move it quicker.....

Seller wants top dollar, buyer wants bottom dollar....

Well if you work it out soon let me know as we we've been on the hunt for a VX but would look at this if it was the right money.

I don't know if its just me, but for the last two weeks in the Brisbane papers I have noticed Toyota new car advertisments actually advertising "In Stock Now" Prado's with a published price in the advertisment. From memory, I haven't seen a Toyota advertisment that has actually included a Prado, let alone displayed a new Prado price for a couple of years, and I do look at the new car advertisments regularly. I just wonder if supply has finally caught up with demand, and hence they have to actually start advertising the Prado a bit more.
Anyway, New Prado 5 door GXL Auto Diesel (with $210 capped price servicing for the first 6 services) is advertised at $63,990 drive away.
Advertised in the Sunday Mail for the last two weeks.
SE Qld: GX 150GD Auto, (Feb'16 build): TJM T15 steel b bar, 9,500lb TORQ winch, TJM s steps, Rhino Pioneer Platform (42102B 1928X1236mm), front recovery points, Wynnum towbar, P3 brake controller, TNN Underbody guards, UHF, TREKtable & LED striplight, Custom Fridge & Drawers, Waeco CFX50, 9inch illuminator 160W LED spots, 40mm lifted Dobinson Suspension (Zordo's), ScanguageII, 30 Sec Wing Awning

They're advertising in stock auto GXL's in my local paper for $59,990 driveaway, so I just bought one! I'll be back in a Prado after a 3.5 year hiatus. It's getting a few "additions" so delivery in after the 28th December, can't wait.

I never see Prados with an actual price on them advertised in my paper. But then I do get The Age, they used to have a good Drive section on Saturdays but now it's all online advertising, only a few reviews and ads in the print edition.

I always go by the theory: you can come down in price, but you can't go up.
                              Good luck

I think prices are same or similar all year round. Some dealers may quote higher than the other.
So shop around is a must.
You get cheap price only when the dealer wants to meet their target.
My experience was a dealer called me and offered a good deal, i.e. $3k off the lowest forum price.
The condition was to sign the contract on the same day and wait 3 months for the new stock.
