Don't have a picture but advice from the dealer is that all models now have the same larger screen. Not sure of exact size but very similar to previous VX/ Kakadu (maybe a little wider).

Does anyone have a picture of the GX/GXL dash and reversing camera display?
I am curious to know if Toyota have persisted with the pissy little 4" screen from the non-facelift GXL? Maybe someone has finally reminded Toyota that it is nearly 2014 and the soccer mums want the Satnav option in the their GXL too!
Symo, that price sounds pretty good to me, still quite a discount on RRP and I would have thought that being a "new" model Prado they would have said RRP with no haggling...

Just checked with the dealer about prices, no haggling going rate is $59,8K drive away GXL D4d Auto in colour, about $1k more than old model I price checked.

I saw one with the factory bar. The bar sits quite low because of the deeper grill and it makes the whole front look like it's drooping.

awesome its aerodynamic stability has been increased by fitting fins to the mirrors and rear tail lights. cool that extra stability and downforce will come in handy, hopefully the car will stop launching over those annoying speedhumps now.........
Styling changes include a deeper front bumper and a larger grille with five prominent vertical bars, integrated with new headlamp clusters. The tail-light clusters have been redesigned with red and clear lens segments and the LandCruiser logo is integrated within the lamp casing.
‘Aerodynamic stability’ has supposedly been increased by adopting aero stabilising fins on the exterior mirror base and rear combination lamps.
Additional specifications to each variant over the old model are as follows: the GX gets a rear-view camera, newly designed 17-inch six-spoke alloy wheels, audio controls on the steering wheel, an LCD central display and new six-speaker display audio system (with a seven-inch central screen).
This in addition to standard equipment such as cruise control push-button start, 220-volt accessory socket, and USB, Bluetooth and auxiliary connections. Towing capacity remains 2500kg (below rivals such as the Holden Colorado 7).

That's a GX version as that model has no Fog lamps... If you go into the http://www.toyota.com.au/prado/accessories# and add a bullbar to anyother spec level they're shownOriginally posted by juc33_prado View Postso they cover up part of the grill so the driving lights are visible? is that what i'm seeing?

not a bad review, they get that toyota still aims it as an offroad capable vehicle, rather than a softroader...Originally posted by Russell View PostAnother review from today's Age:

I'm now hearing about this facelift Prado...not too sure if i like it though, front end looks a bit unusual!
So is this just a 'facelift' for the 150 series Prado? Or something like a 155 series as an upgrade of a 150? Lol just wondering...

I got the dealer to fit a Hayman Reece. Looks much less obnoxious than the Toyota one, particularly on a white car. They didnt have a problem throwing it in so it must cost them around the same as the genuine one.Originally posted by flatchange View PostI've had a 150 Kakadu for nearly 4 years now and was talking to my dealer about the towbars for my new facelifted Prado on order. I feel the genuine towbars hang too low compared with the 120 i had prior to my current Prado. He said that they are starting to fit more of the Hayman Reece towbars as they dont hang as low and are less in your face from the back. Has anyone fitted a new Hayman Reece and what's your thoughts?
