Having seen it in real life, the bar seems to sit quite a bit lower than the previous model. I wonder if it will stuff up the entry angle for after market bars.
Also agree the droopy running lights are naff. If you really need them, which is debatable on a 4WD, I can't see why they couldn't be under the lights to save on the droopy bit and the biggest joke is that they are fake on the GX and GXL.I don't think it will grow on me, although I know that's what people said about the original 150.[B]Steve[/B]

Finally picked up my facelift 2014 prado VX.
About the TFT multi information display inside the dash board, sometime, there is bond white bright square edge like fog. Especially when I drive the car out from the warehouse each time. Then slowly, the white part on the edge will be disappeared in 10-15 mins and become clear and sharp.
I attached a few pictures. Is it because of the light sensor or some problem with the TFT display? Anyone bough VX or Kakadu had some problem like it?

The display may be set to change brightness using an ambient light sensor (as do iPads etc if they are set to auto) with a long time constant.Comment

thanks, mate, I am thinking if brightness is changing by light sensor, the whole screen should be brighter, just wondering why only the 4 sides edge become very bright and super white. send email to Toyota dealer, they are not sure because of this new model and promise to check when doing the first service.Comment
