I wired direct to the battery. The twin unit has two 6mm2 leads with 40A fuses so I ran this direct to the battery. I took the radiator plastic trim cover off (12 or so plastic tab things) and ran the cable in corrugated conduit which I cable tied to the existing cables that are there. As for the switch I ciut a rectangular hole in a piece of aluminium angle which I screwed to the inner guard above the compressor. Trace the wiring for the switch and you will see you only need a 12V trigger and earth. I patched into the windscreen wiper motor wire (dark green). Not sure if this is how I want to leave it or not. Other idea is constant 12V and use a missile switch to prevent it running all the time.
