ARB roof rack - installing the mounting rails

No but it will bend down ok. Are you sure they are seated correctly? I used sinkaflexed between the roof and rubber gaskets and in the holes. Do you have the instructions from ARB?

Jasen it is rail one per side.

EDIT: I should have the instructions. pm me an email address and I will send them if you don't have the paperwork.

Fitted mine and these are definitely on the wrong side, reverse them and they will be level or very close, should not have to bend them, and good luck trying.

Thanks for all the replies, Im starting to doubt if i got the right ones.

(MJ thanks for the email, the instructions I received were black and white – the colour is definitely a lot easier to follow.)

The ones in the manual and all over the internet i've seen are a C channel section, whereas mine is like a Z profile... (the bottom curls).

I might take it off one more time double check the tubes to see if they are coming through the rail seats correctly,

BTW - my rack is a ARB touring rack (if that makes any difference)

You got the right ones, I have the same mounts with a touring rack and they will only go one way, I initially fitted mine incorrectly, but as you found, they don't sit right, reverse them and you should be good.
As stated else where, make sure you silicone around each of the bolt holes in your roof or they will leak.
