I agree. I've just recently declared war on some rats that were getting so bold they would come out in the evening to pinch biscuits out of the dogs bowl even when I was standing close by. I suspect they were only young. Four days of baiting them and apart from a few green droppings I noticed, I haven't seen one since.

Put out some Tomcat baits to sort the buggers out.
No more rat activity under the prado bonnet, no more poo in the a/c filter.
However the little shits got even by karking in the roof gutters - which run in to our rain water tanks. And here in the country that's our only source of water.
Bastards.
