Bluetooth transmitted voice quality

my 2013 is the same, if I turn the transmit volume up too loud on the car unit its very crackly the other end, I turned it down and the other side can here me well now.
P.s I am using a samsung, dont know if that makes a difference

OK have managed to get Bluetooth audio (BTA) to work with my iphone but am not able to adjust the gain?
just to confirm during a Bluetooth phone call the 'seek' up and down buttons are to adjust the gain in a 150s GX?
should the display show that seek is being adjusted?
i only seem to be able to adjust the volume coming through at my end.

I managed to eat this to work on mine today. You need to be on a call and then hit the seek up/down to set the gain. I found -2 works well. Just to clarify, this is not the 'tune' knob, but the seek buttons n the right hand side. I have the 6 stacker in dash unit.
