    Hello

Brought The Cook an ex Thrifty prado and I'm in the process of getting rid of all the idiot alarms. Can anyone point me in the direction of the constant headlight mod location? I'm guessing it's up under the driver side footwell stuffed in behind the fuse panel but I thought I'd ask just in case.

    Cheers

Edit: I should have put this in electrical sub forum. Oh well, rookie mistake

Not sure about the answer to your question, but where did you buy from and at what price? Auto/manual and kilometres?

Thanks for that link. What a cashcow this mine spec upgrade must be. And here I was thinking the upspeccing on the 'cruiser fire ute I brought was impressive.

        Matt

Thrifty sell their own vehicles now under the name AUS Vehicle sales. Manual, 58,000kms and the price was well under 40K

Pretty impressed with the vehicle, I took it for a run up to the top of Dirk Hartog Island for a spot of fishing and I'm amazed at the fuel economy on 4wd tracks.

Yep, they keep the cream of the crop and sell via AUS Vehicle sales - the rest are wholesaled to yards....

FYI - a certain Toyota dealership who will remain nameless could not find the mine spec ignition lights wiring, swore black and blue there was an issue elsewhere.

City Toyota had it nailed in less than 15 minutes....

Same goes for Windows Up / Down via central locking remote....

Midland told me that you can't turn off the seatbelt alarm, I told them they could. Took in my manual and showed them the section... they took the car out back, 5 mins later it was back and alarm was turned off. I guess some places just need to have someone who's actually done it. It would be tough trying to learn everything about every toyota.
