  • Part Number for 150 Auto Gear Knob Wood

I am trying to order the auto gear knob for a Kakadu (mine is a bit worn).

The best that I can find is this ...
    Part number 33504F ...

But amayama.com did not accept my request and I need the correct part number.

    Any tips would be appreciated

Yea thanks .. I saw those .. about $90 from Taiwan or $140 from Japan.

The Taiwan says OEM ... but not sure exactly what that means.

Do you think amayama would be cheaper?

I know ill get shot for just saying this, but have you tried your dealer, they are sometimes cheaper that amayama. If you want i could try the parts guys i deal with all the time and get you a price, just need your vin and it would be easy. If nothing else they could supply the correct part number and you could go from there.

OEM is Original Equipment Manufacturer or genuine part.

yes, but I meant in the context of the ebay listing in the link above ....

"This product is “MADE IN TAIWAN” which is produced by professional OEM Factory and following ISO 2000/16949 procedure"

Option A -> This is the Toyota OEM for that part and hence a Taiwan manufacturer provides some interior equipment to the Toyota factory in Japan for building the Prado

Option B -> The Taiwan manufacturer is an OEM for some other cars like Kia and Hyundai .. but have a few knock-offs for the Toyota parts.

Option C -> The Taiwan manufactuer is an OEM for pretty much nothing and make a knock-off for the Toyota.

Hi guys. First post so I'll try and make it useful.

I purchased my 150 the other day and the wooden effect gear knob was worn.

When I questioned this with the salesman he advised me he would try his best to get one but they are a crash only.

As far as I can tell this means they are not a stock part and can be expensive to order.

                Thought it was worth mentioning!
