It is held in by 4 x panel clips similar to the type that hold a door panel on. (2 x @ front part of the sunglasses holder & other 2 x @ back part of the sunglass holder.

Should just pull out but logic caution to be taken to not damage roof lining or housing.

      Clip part numbers:

      2 x of 90467-10161 (front) $1 USD each
      2 x of 90467-10167 (Rear) $1 USD each

Thank you! Now I'm having trouble figuring out which cable is power so I can run my rear view vision reverse camera (wireless) I had it connected to the map light directly but the screen would only work when the map light was on. So I want to now tap into the cable directly but have no idea which colour cable that power is on. I've done heaps of searches and can't find any diagrams. Here's a photo

I can't help you on that one as i own a 120 series & not 150 series so don't have a wiring diagram!!!

The simplest way out (If not savvy with a multimeter) is to get a test light & put the crock clip end to a good earth then poke around (All doors closed) and test each wire for a power supply.

An ignition live would be the smarter choice! (Will switch off when ignition off).

TIP! .. Rather than forcing a test light or multimeter prong into socket plug (Is small needle tips) use a sewing needle to penetrate the wire then put test light onto the needle.

Here is some >>> test-lights<<< for an idea on prices if you don't own one but a local car accessory shop is your quickest option!

Thank you mate! I've got one & found the power source but for some reason it wasn't enough to power the monitor but when I plugged it into the globe holder part it powered on. So the wires before the loom was not enough power but the power on the board after the loom would work. I'm given up....Appreciate your response a lot!! Cheers

What year model is your gx? Mine is an 2012 and its got a useless convex mirror instead of the sunglass holder, I would much rather the sunnies holder. Sorry if ive gone off subject.

Have you tried pulling down on the mirror part ? My 2014 150GXL has the convex (conversation) mirror, but if you pull down on it it also has the storage compartment above it.
Not sure if yours is the same though.

Ah ha Maulbagle, ive just gone out to check the 150 and yes!!!!!! It does pull down to reveal a sunnies holder. Thanks for that info, I bought the 150 secondhand and had not much explained to me at all and like most males I tend not to read manuals that much.

no worries. like every other car I've had, the holder is too small for my sunnies anyway !

It fits my prescription sunnies or glasses really well, but doesn't fit the wifes sunnies, so no arguments over who gets to use that hole.

Dam! you learn something new each day. I always wondered what that poxy mirror was for and why there wasn't a sunglasses holder there. I'll give it a try on my way home today.

lolz... the first time I found the sunnies holder, I was perplexed coz I could feel air conditioned air coming out of it !!

Eventually I realised the centre dash vents were pointing up
