Runva 11XP Winch on an ARB Deluxe Bar (standard or offset Hawse)

There appears to be a few different Runva "11XP" winches, four models that I can see anyway...and perhaps this might explain some of the confusion or varying opinions about fitment. Some have remote control, others have an attached control box etc...could that be part of the issue?

mlc I think you have to rotate the gearbox regardless of which bar you are fitting to.

I need to restart my life. I would like to learn basic mechanics, boiler making, and how to understand women. Why the "truck" would anyone make an item that needs to be pulled apart before its fitted. Am I missing something basic here?

Not missing anything. Some vehicles require the gearbox rotated and some don't. We had to rotate the gearbox for the C ute. Pull the screws but try not to separate the housings, just spin the gearbox. If you pull the gearbox away you can split the box off and then you need to be really careful not to damage the seal when you put it back. Not hard, just take your time. By the way the first two are easy. The last..... Never happen.

I also believe their bar is rated for a 9000lb so they wont install a runva 11xp being 11000lb

Yes I did rotate my gearbox MLC. simple job...

Good point you make there Matt. You see a lot of guys buying up these 12000lb elGrandeDomin8ing Supa winches without considering that their ARB bar is only rated to support 9k. the Runva 11XP is not far off the same mark and does need to be considered by the owner. However a while back I was in the process of purchasing a bar from ARB to be fitted by them and requested that the install a different brand 9k winch at the same time which they refused to fit as they will only install items sold out of their own stock.

Rotated the gearbox, turns out it wasn't as scary as I thought. My thanks to the 5 year old that did it for me. Ok, I did it, only 3 extra screws left over....

Beware of runva winches , my 3 rd use it failed me, was stuck halfway up a hill climb , problem is the control box , under warranty and the reply I received from runva was to purchase a new control box , btw because I was stuck with a dud winch I ripped a cv out and the rear bar off getting my self off the hill
