2 inch ironman lift

Rang ironman Brendale today and priced up a 2 inch lift with foam cell shocks and springs to suit bullbar, winch and double battery for my GXL 150 facelift. Price I got was $960 which I though was pretty good....

Was wondering if anyone has a photo of the raise I should be expecting after fitting this ironman kit if they have fitted one already??

I had a 45mm Ironman lift fitted yesterday on my 150 Altitude.

I have not got any photos yet, but will try to get some tomorrow.

Took it for a quick drive tonight along a few 4x4 tracks along the Murray River and although the ride is much firmer, there is a lot less roll, and the car doesn't wallow around like it did.

The lift is exactly 45 mm.

Just wondering which shocked etc you went with?

I contacted Caloundra 4x4 and got quoted 1700.00 fitted with the foam cell pro shocks.

The fellow there has a FJ Cruiser and it is the same set up as on his.

Thinking 45-50 mm lift

Ocean Racer - I was the same, Was quoted $1350 for the parts, and $450 for fitting and wheel alignment.

I cant see you getting the same setup with new springs and shocks (foam cell pro) for under $1,000 + fitting. They have defiantly missed something.

I'm looking at ironman myself at the moment. Some shops are confusing names and models. There is ironman gas for under $1000, the ironman foam for about $1300 then the newer ironman foam pro which is about $1700

That was a parts only price list, good to know the $450
