Have any of you considered ducting the rear air-conditioner "feet" outlet to the hot side of the fridge? Surely even on a low setting this would make the fridge super stable while the car is running. We know that heat is the absolute enemy of electronics and fridges alike.

I thought about it briefly before our last drive up the Oodnadatta.
Whilst it seems like a good idea for the middle of the day when it is nice and warm it is also quite cold first thing when we break camp and often have the heater going. The complications of dealing with heat and aircon blowing directly through the fridge made it all seem too hard.
It also raises the question about the ducting preventing air circulating through the fridge when you are stationary.
Seemed like a good idea at the time but too many impracticalities.
Let me know if it works for you.

Temperature in the back is ok when your driving, its when you park in the sun
that the fridge gets a work out, you would be better off putting reflective blinds
on the windows if you don't have them.HKB Electronics, manufacturer of the Alternator Voltage Booster, Silver 2008 D4D,Lifted,Underbody protection, Alternator Voltage Booster, Tiger Z winch, Lightforce DL, Air Horns, Tanami Drawers, Drop down fridge slide, Outback cargo barriers, Rotronics dual Battery system, Polaris GPS, HF/UHF/VHF, Radio speaker combiner, Long ranger water tank, Diff breathers, Inverter, Snorkel and others
