We need a new site

PradoPoint was once a great site. Now it just errors and you can't always post. You attempt to contact admin and get an error. They don't seem to want to fix the issue.
If a new forum was created for Prado People, what should it be called?

I have just answered another post and still get the error message so it looks as though our constant reporting of issues has made no difference whatsoever. Why do problems with the forum get ignored? are the issues too difficult for admin to fix? if so there has been offers of help so why were these not taken up? is it because admin simply don't care? why are we not informed?

I suspect it's just one of the many issues with vBulletin. People have been migrating away from it, like this fella. There's a heap of other alternatives out there.

Some have plug-ins that assist in migration like -

• Vanilla
• XenForo
• bbPress

And you can pay for people to do migrations.

Its not the site's admins fault - Its a Vbulletin issue , sometimes when you install thier mandatory regular updates it crashes stuff , and the developer cannot or does not bother fixing it , .which costs a lot of time and money

The problem is with the owner: Aaron, not the forum specs.

There maybe some minor issues with vBulletin, but the problem with this forum is that the prado-admin of this site does not maintain it.

Hasn't been sorting PradoPoint for MONTHS.

LCool is worth moving to from PradoPoint. The system is maintained and well done. Need to log in to see the posts. http://www.lcool.org/forum/index.php

I was once a massive Facebook user, I swore by it for community updates etc.
Not anymore it is an unsociable trapdoor.

I manage a forum www.safairmontgt.com.au (technically....using phpbb with no issues. It is small but requires no admin work at all. users self manage and report issues ….I then delete. I am with Rushn… a lot of safairmontgt have moved to Facebook. it is a trapdoor full of adverts and unsecure. Plus how do u search and organise threads. long live the fourm
