Maxtrax Mounting Point on the J15

Hello Boys and Girls,

a few weeks ago I bought a 2019 Toyota Prado J15. I gonna use the car to replace my 2 Door Jeep Wrangler as an Overlander. I done a few thinks to the prado until now.

I fitted a rhino rack roof rack and a pop up tent. I really like to use my Maxtrax so I looking for a place to mount them. I dont want them in the care, especially when the are muddy. The big problem is that I live in Germany and the European version of the Prado dont came with the spare tire at the tail gate. Its mountet under the care. So I dont have a place to mount the Maxtrax on the spare tire.

Do you guys know a system for the tailgate that dont need a spare tire to mount the maxtrax? Or you know a other system to mount the maxtrax at the Prado?

Which popup tent do you have?
Some let you mount gear on top of them, so long as its not too heavy.
