Anyone heard anything about the 2020 model year?

Given Toyota Australia has announced price increases for the 2020 Camry and the 200 Series LandCruiser, I am wondering what is in store for Prado.

"By around 2025, every model in the Toyota and Lexus line-up around the world will be available as either a dedicated electrified model or have an electrified option."

So expect a hybrid or fully electric version of the Prado by 2025.

My mates np300 is twin turbo it gets up and boogies! Some places we I need to use low range where he can use high range as the first turbo kicks in instantly then other mid range 1600rpm? So kinda works like a supercharger boost through the whole rev range , Smaller motor too only 2.3? Pretty much Same torque and power too.

Pie in sky wish - supercharger and turbo with the supercharger clutch driven so only engages when demanded, no lag, minimal parasitic power draw and not adding unnecessary heat to intake air and in the engine bay.

Keep the capacity around 3 litres for efficiency and weight although there is no substitute for cubes when it comes to performance emissions compliance dictates smaller capacity.
