Hi all,
I have a bit of a weird one and can't find an answer when searching, so I'm hoping someone can tell me.
Sometimes (not all the time) I put in the breaks semi hard and stop i.e. stop at a around about a bit quicker than normal. The Prado will hold the revs around 800-900rpm and a few seconds later I hear a clunk and a jolt as if someone has hit be back of me slightly and then the rpm goes back to normal.
I did think it could be a rear tailshaft clunk, but would that hold revs too?
Does anyone have any ideas.
I'm due a the 150k service soon so if I know what it is it might prepare me if it's a big issue.
Just for reference: it's a 150 petrol in otherwise good Nick and not taken off-road.
Any help would be great.
