Hi All,

Quick question, does anyone know what this diode like thingy is? Temperature sensor?

it’s located left hand side of the speedo for Prado 2018 Kakadu.

yep, interior temp sensor , many toyotas have a hose attached to the rear of the sensor to draw in an accurate cabin temp , if the wiring is accidently left disconnected then this totally disables the a/c on many toyotas, because the computer automatically assignes a default temp of -50 deg celcius
