Newer model suspension on a 2010 150

Hi All,

I've got some leaky front shocks on my 2010 prado, cant get a lift kit, wont fit in the garage.

So question is, can I grab some 2018/19/20 suspension from marketplace and will they fit the 2010?

I've had a look at part numbers and the dont match, but they look almost identical, looking at photos.

Yeah, know that feeling.

If the shock absorbers are the only part that's different, you might get away with it.

Alternatively, replace the shocks and top cap with aftermarket units and re-use your springs. Genuine Toyota shocks can be had reasonably cheap, brand new if you don't want aftermarket.

Diesel and petrol suspension will be different and as 2018 on is diesel only if you have a petrol Prado the springs will be different rate.
