Hi,
First post! This place is really a fountain of knowledge and I'm getting a lot of ideas on what to do with my soon to be LC150. Thank you all!

Anyway, just wanted to express my support to this matter as I've seen the kind of damage it could potentially do.I've taken my friends brand new LC150 on trips to the Murray in the last two weeks and the defect sticks out like a sore thumb.

Ok I talked to my friend yesterday and he said you need to register your concern with the service center of your dealership. Apparently Toyota is working on improved mud flaps but will only fit them to those who have expressed concern. He found out about it when he reported a casting defect in the finish of one of his wing mirrors.

Signed, and while I was at it a had a vent about the carpet and "leather" seats in the Kakadu. I paid $88K for a luxury 4x4 and the carpet is more like something out of a Hyundai, not the mention the leather "accented" seats that are mostly vinyl......a quality car let down by some cost saving exercise by Toyota.

Hi Guys
I know there are other issues with the car as well but I think that comment's in the petition sould be kept relevent to the cause of the petition. We don't really just want a bitch session sent to Toyota about everything, it will lose the point of it. I'm not saying you shouldn't let Toyota know of the other problems, just keep it relevent here.
I just posted some more mudflap info in the Body & Chassis section as well.

This is good news. I shall let my dealer know.

Given we have quite a few signatures on the petition now I might send a link to Customer Experience and say something along the lines of... We believe you are working on a fix and appreciate it. To reinforce the frustration of many owners you may like to view our petition and read some of the comments blah blah.

Also agree that we should keep the petition relevant to the mudflap issue.

Already notified my dealer that the mudflaps were inadequate. They have registered my concerns :!:
