New Vehicle Order Tracking

Me,. ordered on 8th March, ZR, now the tracking system shows eta is 14 Sept. but status is still not in transist to Australia,
confirm with dealer, been told they are not sure, will check with stock control for me these days...,
i think i'm par with 6 months at least...

WOW !! that's a wait.
I might as well join the waiting clan with my first post. (Been window shoping & getting my list together)
Ordered my Blue Storm GX Diesel on May 5th, just contacted my dealer & was told may get delivery in late Sept.
or maybe in October but could be even Nov. As he said he has no idea.
I'm not getting very far finding out more info either. It must be a WA thing.

Welcome to the long wait club & pradopoint Bigben (everyone on here is very helpful unlike many other forums where you have to be one of the boys).
I hope your GX is on the same boat as mine which is scheduled for the end of September (fingers crossed). It is pretty frustrating that the WA dealers don't provide access to the on line tracking system like our east coast counter parts, but we get use to things not changing too quickly over here in the west.

i think I'm par with 6 months at least...

Must be a ZR thing Carrera944 - no idea why as they are smaller and shouldn't take as long to build ;-)

well, let me say about the tracking system.., when in mid of July it says scheduled for production, and then in mid of August., finally said build date is in July and the status is in production.,

it seems that my car will take nearly whole month to build.. xD..,

i dont trust this tracking system anymore..., just phone dealer, disturb them when we are losing patient.., they are not busy since the quake..,


btw, dont let them check their tracking system, most time they see the same as we see, let them phone or email stock control to get the real time info. they should do this job.

(When I spotted a new D4D vehicle in his yard, the Southside dealer told me yesterday none b4 x-mas if ordered now. I asked about the 76 series beside the D4D and he said, no Tojo 4bies b4 x-mas. Maybe the Hi-luxes from Thailand are quicker-I don't know- but I wasn't interested in them)

Hi all,

Ordered on 21 June and just received email from dealer advising me that the car is in and ready to pick up late tomorrow afternoon.
I ordered a white 150GXL D4D and im in Melbourne.

Followed up dealer and moved from September to start of october... not to confident with this info.... Really need the extra 7 seats in October for our Wedding... going to be fun with just one small car with everyone travelling from interstate..

But I think people in perth and brisbane are on the same timeline...

Think it is a real race to delivery now!!

Avj - maybe ask your dealer if it has been scheduled a date for production or if it is still pending. My dealer was just guessing the month for delivery until it got a date scheduled. I am still not prepared to bet my house on the fact that it will be on the boat arriving on the 25th sept but I am pretty sure that would be how they plan the build dates (around the ship movements).

Nice one dannyk, wish we were all getting ours tomorrow.

Si & Rae, looks like you got the jump on me, I was just notified that mine has definitely moved out from end of Sept to the end of Oct now.
Just waiting for the next call to say another date now,

I picked up the phone, asked my dealer in Sydney for a GXL auto Petrol 150...

It will be in their dealership on Monday, from Brisbane....

I guess that's the power of bulk fleet buying ??

I think if you had wanted a diesel it would be a different story. There has been a petrol GXL 150 at my local dealer for the last 6 weeks.
It is the diesels that are hard to get.

There has been petrols all over the place since I ordered mine in March/April. The diesels the one you have to wait for.

Not really buying power... more petrol over diesel power.. I think if our new car was a company car with petrol card, we would be driving a petrol right now....
