Not true, I have metallic tint all round and have no radio reception problems.

I was also told that there would be problems on my other car and there weren't.

I'd never go back to dye tint and I definitely wouldn't mix dye and metallic tints as they look very different.

Hi guys,I have been in the window tinting industry for 25 years. We have had a sol-ace franchise in sydney, then a tint a car franchise in Melbourne. We are now a independent window tinting business "VIP window tinting"
The darkest legal tint is 35% in Australia-except south Australia where the 2 front windows must be 75%.
Privacy glass should only have heatshield or uv sheild applied to it and you should only use a carbon or non metalised film over your aerial. In saying all of that I have tinted my cars in 20% carbon all round and also straight over the privacy glass.
80% of our work is brand new dealership work with the rest retail, with many car clubs included. When you have your cars tinted by a independent tint shop you should get a much better price because we have much less overheads but use the exact same film.
            Most cars should cost $180-$200.
If you need to know more call me on 0419 515511 or www.vipwindowtinting.com.au.
            Cheers Brett
