They also will suit 150 series Prado, Bilstein shocks would probably be the best handling for this application, but the standard shocks would also work."Sure it’s quiet, for a diesel, but that’s like being well-behaved… for a murderer."- Jeremy Clarkson

I have to say, live and let live. I'm really curious to see the results, if the OP doesn't mind posting some shots. While obviously it will change the off-road capabilities and character of the vehicle, I have to say that the Prado does make a bloody serious looking wagon!
I'm just curious, though, about the legalities of lowering the vehicle?2007 GXL V6 manual + a few goodies

This is pretty amusing. IT's the guys prado if he wants to lower, why criticize him. There are plenty of 4wdrivers out there, that do mods the radicle change the vehicles like strechting the chassis, making a ute from a wagon, and they would be better off purchasing vehicles that are already sold on the market that was.
Plus when it comes time for him to sell it at least you know it wouldn't have gone offroad.
AndyI had mental issues when I owned a Discovery.......But it's sorted now!

EDIT:
Granted this is an opionated post that does not contribute to the initial request for information about lowering a Prado, so I would be happy for this post to be deleted along with Andy_B's for being pointless posts.Last edited by williade; 27-01-2012, 02:45 PM.Declan: 1997 GXL 4.5 Auto 80 series on LPG, ARB bullbar, 2" OME lift, 32" MTZ, GME UHF, rear ARB locker, Kaymar spare wheel carrier
