I have booked the car for Saturday to have the bilstein raised drivers front I can't be fussed trying to crack the valves etc and the more I read the more I think the spacer or higher cir clip setting should permanently level it out. I just hope raising one side front 8-10mm is enough to raise the rear 20mm ?

Head out to the garage and go to the drivers side front corner (level ground) and push it up by 10mm, you will see you rear passenger side corner drop by 10mm and your car 'should' be level. Makes it easier with a bar on it to pull up but you should be able to find a point to push up from and get your wife to stand at the rear and watch the difference. 10mm was all mine needed, 15mm was to much. You should be able to fix your wheel alignment and steering wheel being out of alignment with that spacer as well.

How much lean did you have? I just measured mine and found it's 20mm lower front ant rear drivers side being lower. I think my Bilsteins have the cir clip at the lowest of the three settings so I can raise the front strut 8mm or 16mm? Tough one. And it is being wheel aligned after their done with it.
Thanks heaps for your advice Dan it's good to have someone a few steps ahead of me playing with the same things.

Mine was 25mm out and I just checked it, I still have a 10 mm and 5mm spacer in it. I removed the 10mm as I replaced the front coils as we also thought they were he issue. Easy done on the help mate, I know what it is like to have this issue.

So just a 5mm spacer at the moment and it's leveled out the 25mm?

Thank you Sir I may go the 16mm. Option on mine the not sure 8mm will do it.

I think that should be fine, as you will notice when you pull upmon the drivers side front corner it will push down on the passenger side rear corner and it should level out.

I couldn't get the car back to adjust the Bilsteins but now am on the lookout for a 20mm spacer for up front.....anyone know who sell them??

Any idea why a 10mm spacer gives 20-25mm lift?

That's because of the geometry of the IFS. The fixing point of the strut is somewhere between the LCA pivot point and wheel hub. So there is a multiplier effect.

Did the strut need to be removed to move the clip Kaka?

Yes I'm fairly sure they removed it, compressed the spring adjusted it then put it back together and gave it a wheel align.
