The coil is designed for 100kg constant load over the front. So it is the incorrect spring if you have nothing added over the front.
Not sure how 60mm droop is achieved as the 12750GR is not a long travel shock. Have you got new strut tops as well?

The 65C is the spring that Ironman recommend for all diesels or petrol models with accessories and yes I did get new strut tops.

The diesel GXL is 80kg heavier than a petrol one and I think that the extra weight would be all in the engine bay so I guess that's why that spring is recommended for the diesel.

I've only done about 200ks since the install and it certainly feels nice to drive.

      I appreciate your comments.

      • OK, the strut tops will explain why you still have usable droop. However, 830mm is not really good for the CV's longevity. Have you got a photo of what your CV angles look like?

          • Take a photo at full droop and check for cv binding by rotating both front wheels by hand.

              • Before: Front 744mm Rear 764mm After: Front 787mm Rear 824mm (43mm lift front, 60mm lift rear)
                Old man Emu setup:
                Front Coil Springs (1 pair x 2885)
                Rear Coil Springs (1 pair x 2889)
                Nitrocharger Sport Strut (2 x 90010)
                Rear Nitrocharger Sport Shock (2 x 60080)
Fitted: ARB steel bar, Dual battery, Steel roof rack, LRA 126L aux tank and Evakool 60L fridge.
After the lift the front CV's look dead level so no real worry with them. Only weighty addition to go on is ARB protection steps (no brush rails).

                  • Just fitted OME 50mm lift kit with 200kg rear springs
                    Front - 90001/2885
                    Rear -60090/2898

                    Before:
                    755/755
                    793/786

                    Now:
                    820/820
                    860/860

Total lift is 65mm front and 70mm rear.

However waiting on dual battery and winch install for front to drop it back down, and when camper is loaded rear drops to about 45-50mm

                    • Be careful of your CVs until you fit the heavy stuff. That is a lot of lift. How is the droop?

                      • Haven't measured droop yet. However CV's are only very very slightly off dead level as it is.

                        • Braugham,
                          Have you got 18" rims?
The 200kg rear springs is for a constant load and not meant to be used for stock standard weight at the back. Do measure your droop to ensure the longevity of your shocks.

Nah 17" standard rims. Installed the heavy springs as we tow a heavy Towball weight camper and wanted to avoid airbags. Sits great with the camper on. Also planning to add water tank under rear.
