You can tell the seat isnt right as the spring is hard up against the body of she strut. When the seat is correctly fitted it partially inserts into the spring and holds it central so not only will your height be wrong but the spring is also offset

That looks better. Just for security check the full drop of the strut for CV bind and if the top control arm no longer fouls on the spring.

Bilstein BE5-A712 Alloy collar installed upside down giving plus 50mm of lift and many problems
This has happened to me as well and went unnoticed as well with two other mechanics.
If the Alloy Collar is installed upside down:
-you will not be able to read the raised writing on the bottom of the Alloy Collar
- you will get about an extra +50mm of lift
- The CV shaft may leak as the angle is too great
- excessive compression on ball joint boots and steering ball joints
- Upper Control Arm UCA will contact the spring and wear the control arm Plus make an unpleasant noise when the front suspension is tested over terrain.
It seems to be a problem with installers not reading instructions and not being competent as I bought the King springs and Bilstein shocks from a local company (now out of business) selling packages so I was expecting competent installers not cowboys.
A big thanks to Prado Point for all the useful information.
