Re: Fitted Lift Kit
Hi
I put a set of Bilsteins and King Springs (50mm lift) in before we went to the Cape. I fitted it all myself and can tell you that the front struts are the same and will fit straight in. The strut was about 10mm longer which it should be for a lift. The rear didn;t fit perfectly. The spring was correct but the top rubber bush on the shock was a bit different. I can't now remember the exact sizes but the hole in the body for the steel locator washer to fit in is larger than is on a 120. Solution was to use the standard steel locator washer but with the new rubber as the shaft on the new shock is thicker than the standard. Only prob was the orginal bush and washer is one peice so you have to wreck it to get the locator out and then it just bolts back together in the car.
I can say I love the set up I got. Car packed up and 3 weeks through the Cape over corrogations and everything we threw at it, just rode great.
Cheers
