WOW? I just asked for the factory replacement size! As the Diameter is 776mm. I think the 275's are 846mm? I didnt want to blow out the speedo too much. I had so many hassles with the Grande that I dont want to do the same with the Kakadu?

275/65/18 should be around 815-820 (a little over 32") depending on the tyre.

I have read somewhere on here the speedo can be re calibrated by Toyota at service.

That would be awsome if they could! I was told back in 06 when I got my Grande 120 that a mob could do something similar, but in the end it was only vehicle specific. IE PATROL , CRUZER ETC? I will ask today tho!

]mickmac_42 is rite the 275 65 18 is just bigger then a 32' and the speedo can be recalibrated but with these tyres shouldn't need to be as they run 3 to 4% over. other members that have already fitted them state this is correct also.

If that doesn't work you could always try this http://www.yellr.com/yb_home.htm

Did we work out if the LT275/65/R18 fits on the rear wheel carrier? I don't mean the wheel cover, but the wheel mount itself.

with mine the tyre rubbed on the door but i went to a 9' rim. but i would assume that it will still rub on the standard rim. its an easy fix tho Kaymar do a spacer that mounts uder the genunie one for about $130.Click image for larger version

Are you talking about the same tyre in different sizes? I think the 275 looks better, will offer more scope for bagging out when pressure is lowered but it will be less fuel efficient than the 265.
