Just wanted to put it out there for comments about the new ST Maxxx's
I just bought a new set of ST Maxx with tyers and a new set steel rims for the 150.
Now alot of people have been worried about the noise levels and the quality of the tyers so i thought i would kick this open for debate.
As a test of the noise levels i tooka sound reading in the car at 100km/h along a straight road for 14kms and the readings were between 71 - 73 db.
With the new rubber on i did the same test and found the levels at first glace to be the same. Once i downloaded the data and did a complete comparision i found that with the new ST's the overall difference was 0.3db higher.
Now the only variable i couldnt control was the wind noise. As it turns out the winds on the second run were higher so that will add to the levels as well.
Overall from just sitting in the car and listening to them, They do ahve a hum at 100kmbut only if you have the radio off.
All in all im happy as pig in you know what.
Time to get them dirty
