While it's not first hand, I have got a mate that has them on his 90 and he loves them. I will be having a good look at the AT2's when I am due for new tyres.

      Hi Cruisen,

Yep running them on my 120. About 10,000 kms so far (majority road and some off road with the camper trailer), wearing really well and minimal road noise.

Dealer who sold them to me had his brother do Brisbane to tip Cape York and back on them (really impressed) and has trouble getting enough stock to meet demand for this tyre (also spoke high of Dick Cepek hybrids and MT also).

From memory got my General Grabber AT2s for $245 each.

I was looking at the General Gabber AT2 yesterday at Bob Jane and was quoted $255 for 265/65/17 and $265 for the 245/70/17

They are similar to BFG AT but they DON'T have 3 ply side walls which has ruled them out for me.

I'm now considering Toyo Open Country AT2 which have been on sale for about 8 months in Aust. They are a lot better they the original Open country AT.
They are a LT tyre with 3 ply side walls with a E load rating. They are not as aggressive as the BFG but by reading are a better trye in the wet.
I have been quoted $245 fitted at TyreZone in Brisbane for the 265/65/17. As I have the GX with 6.5 rims I properly will get the 245/75r17 which is the same dia as the 265/70/17.

            Sounds good guys.

Mines also a GX but got hold of a set of FJ rims for good $.

3ply sidewalls was a consideration also but i am not planning any desert trips they should be fine for me. The Toyos look really good also however they were quoting 340 for 265/70/17 , in same territory as BFG for pricing.

I have a set of General Grabber AT2, in 265/65 size. When fitted I wanted BFG AT's not could not find any in stock. With 5 tyre rotation that now have 95,000km and still have another 15-20,000km left in them. Most of my driving is highway, offroad has been sand and dry bush tracks.

Next time around I'll go 265/70, probably General Grabber AT2 again...

2 weeks into Toyo AT2s on our 120. Really happy so far $275 a corner 265/70/17. Getting a hold of a set was one of the bigger issues.

                  Do u mean 265/70/17 as I don't think they make a 265/75/17 ??

Bob Jane in Strathpine. I am away with work at the moment so cant check the receipt but it was either $245 or $255 each.

i got some for my GX when i bought it and ive now done about 40k and they still look fresh. Very good tyres IMO. I think i paid 245 each. They have been on sand/mud/rock and everything in-between and i have never found them lacking (for an AT tyre). Very good value and will probably go with them again when they wear out.
2013 (12 build) GX Auto.......with safari snorkel, toyota bar, tow bar, roof racks, led spots with fancy newpro switchgear, uniden remote UHF and aerial, ARB bash plates, Roadsafe recovery points, digoptions radio, general grabber AT2s, cheap ebay roof rack that has stood up surprisingly well.....

What sort of Driving do u do? Any Remote Touring?

I was told that they don't have a real strong sidewall and are a little more prone to sidewall damage.....

I got them installed now with the FJ rims, look hot.

quiet tyres so far. only had them on road and seem decent so far, see how they go.

my driving was mostly high country stuff as i lived in VIC and they were great for that. Now ive moved to SA ive done plenty of soft sand and ill be doing a few desert tracks.

Yeah the first thing i thought when i got them was that the sidewalls were a bit soft but i haven't had any dramas yet and ive been driving some pretty overgrown and rocky stuff in the high country where staking the tyre was a big risk. I just lowered my pressures and kept an eye on the track and got through everything OK. Low tyre pressures = less risk of punctures.

Ive also done plenty of high speed rocky/gravel roads at normal pressures and there are no signs of chipping (well not that i can see). For the price they do very well indeed.
