$1325 is high for a changeover price. $400 is the best price I have seen. Some have managed $600 while others got $900.

Pick up my truck next month, i got a price for change over for Mickey thompsons (5x) LT265/70R17 in the ATZ 5 Rib for $1325 from Fourbys at Moorooka.
Does this sound right for the price? Also being american does it depend on how the aus dollar compares to the Greenback?

We get screwed with the price. With the Aussie being so high we should see the tyres drop in price but we dont. I've seen quite a few of the ATZ5s have issues. They are only a little stronger than the grandtrek but will give better milage. If you are looking at heading offroad maybe look at the ATZ4 or FCII as they are a stronger tyre IMO.
