Piggy what type of driving you doin, any off road? that some tread life. do you tow anything with any weight?

I'm a little perplexed at the moment, in this thread they are the best things since sliced bread, but you read other places and some people are having a hell-ov-a-time with'em.
Seen stuff like - out of round, tread separation, not good tread life, too hard, mediocre off road.

appreciate any other off road type driving descriptions

    Cheers

A lot of City and HWY, Over to the Hunting lodge near Thredbo every few months. (2100k round trip). Heaps of day to day in city stuff (avg 180-300 a day). About 15% of the 60K kms is off road, Paddocks, Shire roads, Dirt, and quite a bit of sand work. I tow a racecar on trailer a lot (2-3 times a month) and this can be anywhere from Adelaide to Tassie, Bathurst, High Country, etc. Weight about 1.8-2 tonne all up. Vehicle has Bar, Winch, Batts, and tools. I've had a brilliant run with them, one puncture (Screw on a job site), and no other issues, I rotate every 5k and wheel align every 20 as we have a 4 wheel aligner in our shed.
I've not heard of any issues with delam or otherwise.

The Hankooks are fine off road, certainly not a heavy All terrain, or Mud tyre, but have done ok. In sand I find them better than the Mickey Thompson MTZ play tyres I have, and don't change them when we take the Buggies and bikes to the Dunes nowadays.

We also have a set of Hankook on the 2018 Ranger that are going ok so far too (20K on them).

thanks for the info. I've done some more digging around and there certainly seems a lot more positive posts than negative.
