    Look how low the original one sits.

    Go for a Hayman Reese I had many years good service from it on my 90 series.

      I know I'm digging up an old post, searching lead me here.

      I have the same issue, i bought a secondhand factory Toyota tow-bar and the chassis doesn't have holes towards the rear of the chassis.
      The holes towards the front of the chassis/vehicle have the captive bolts.

      Is drilling the chassis NOT recommended?
