  • Fitting a cargo barrier

    Hi there
Just bought a cargo barrier off ebay and although I havent got it yet I was hoping its not too big a job to fit
Can anyone tell me if the holes are already in the roof (I hope so)

    Re: Fitting a cargo barrier

The fitment will depend on which brand you have purchased. Unless the brackets pick up existing holes then you will have to drill new holes. Not all barriers need holes drilled.

My 2nd hand Ausguard barrier needed new holes drilled... had caddy storage install mine as they are the distributor here in BNE for them.

        Re: Fitting a cargo barrier

Fitted a Miford cargo barrier to the wife's Adventra tonight after work. The one I put in the Prado a few months back was a different brand that bolted to the third seat grab handles on the roof. Easy. The Adventra required a few more holes. The old measure twice cut once rule applies. Doesn't stop you from crapping yourself as you cut the 25mm required hole in a one piece roof lining.
