It takes time to get hot..like I drive for 10 mins it starts getting hot..and I checked under the car I have both the shields (heat shield and my catalystic converter is also covered with a shield) but still gets hot..I don't know if it's normal and happens with all prados (check if your Prado passenger seat backside bolt get hot while driving) I check the the heat by touching the bolts rest is all cool...and I noticed my it's giving me less mileage now..and goes slow on the signals ...please help

It can only be a few things:
      - cat/exhaust too hot due to engine issue, ie, excessive unburnt fuel being extracted (faulty sparks/not firing? cylinder issue? not sure...)
      - faulty wiring or electronic device consuming large power drain
      - interior heater

I'd start by removing/checking the sparks, replace the ignition leads, clean everything. You may find some clues whilst doing this. You could also have a weak ignition coil - but it wouldn't be entirely failed or the engine would stop (each coil runs 2 sparks/cylinders).

Mine used to get warm to hot too, before I fitted the extra cooler for the Auto, and gave it a full service and fluid flush. Adjusted the clutch fan and refilled it with silicon oil helped as well no doubt.
