  • Adjusting rear door

Ive just taken delivery of a 2002 turbo diesel.

The previous owners never had the rear door adjusted properly, so I tried....and tried....and tried.....and tried again.

Its better, but no where near good enough.

Anyone have a magic wand and can wave it in my direction?

    Welcome abord Hux22
cant realy help with the back door as I havent had that problem yet, I did have the same problem on my old FJ73 cruiser and there wasnt anything I could do as the hinges themselfs had warped.
If you find a solution let us know as im sure it will sag one day.

      Gidday Hux22,

I first had to have my passenger door adjusted after it shook it's self loose on the Cooloola Way but then about 2 months later the back door was so loose that the door strike just about fell off... (had just had it serviced the day before and they didn't notice  )

Although I had Toyota do it, it's in the Gregory's book and the door strikes are adjustable up/down in/out but you'll need a torque head to do it...

I'll have a look when I get home and let you know what I find out.
      Cheers, Leon
