    Re: Electrical question?

    Ferg 4x4 here
Thanks for the info on the surf, I am havin porblems finding an ECU for the Prado, part no.8966-60250 as they are pretty thin on the ground in ireland and especially the Auto type. any ideas? I have logged requests with a few parts search websites, local and in UK but so far drawn a blank. Can get a new on from Japan but it will cost an arm and a leg and just cant streach that far at min.

        Ecu

Try talking to your local service centre/s, here in oz there are companies who specialise in repairing ecu's I'm sure there would also be some over there. If you have trouble finding them you could also try a speedo repairer as these days they usually do electronics repairs and if they can't do the ecu they maybe able to point you to some one who can.

        Cheers

          Hi,
This is my first post here, I have been contributing with my limited knowledge in discussions on www.toyotadiesel.com where I have been a member for some years.
I have been searching for ECU Pinouts for Toyota Part Number 89661 - 60520 and Denso Part number 175800 -1683. The ECU is from JDM 1997 Toyota Prado TZ which is quite different from the 1996 Prado (175800 - 1614) in the 16 pin connector. The difference can also be seen on the component board.
          Any help highly appreciated, Thanks.
