    hi all

I'm looking for a duel battery system for my 2010 120 pardo i went to repco looking at the projector systems but the guy told me they are no good for a 2010 prado because they have a low voltage alternator, is this correct ? i felt like the guy just wanted to sell me a red arc system at twice the price..

    thanks for the help

Yes the Prados have a lower voltage output, however this can be easily corrected by fitting a booster diode.

If you search this website you'll find a vast amount of info on dual battery systems, the use of booster diodes and or DCDC chargers.

      G'Day Steve,

If you have a 2010 Prado then that would be a 150 series Prado. Have a look at the following link. Under the main heading in green it will show you what section it is in i.e. 150 series, 120 series etc. You can also change the words 'dual battery' in the URL address bar to obtain other searches i.e. voltage booster or battery trays etc.

You also might want to get a dual battery system rather than giving your batteries each a pistol so they can be dueling batteries
