  • favour needed. multimeter, 3.4 V6 and knock sensors.

Hey guys. Hoping someone can help me out quickly. I need someone to run out to their V6 with a multimeter and measure the resistance on the three pins of the knock sensor harness. Its located at the front of the passenger side cylinder bank just behind the timing belt cover. Its a triangular shaped plug with three pins. If you could disconnect it, measure the resistance to ground on each pin and then the resistance of each pin to the other pins I would be forever in your debt.

    Cheers guys!

In the Pilbara at the moment so can't help, but do you mean measure the knock sensor resistance or the harness ?

The short harness with the sensors still attached to it. So you are effectively measuring the resistance of both the harness and the sensors at once.

I wish. Been trying to get my hands on one but so many other priorities first.
