  • abs speed pulses... does anyone know or have information?

So I'm probably pushing smelly stuff uphill with a toothpick but I have to ask at least...

I'm after any information or diagrams people might have in regards to the speed pulses from the individual wheels. I have a little project in mind that needs to count the pulses from the front wheels. Ideally a steering position sensor would be awesome but the 90 doesn't have one.

What kind of info do you need ? Iv got wiring diagrams early and late?
This little project you speak of has my ears pointed forward!

Any thing and everything. I was working on a 95 today that had stability. The computer for that was labelled abs/trac and located directly above your left foot. If it has stability... then it must have some ability to measure the yaw. Could that sensor be retrofitted I wonder... or is it counting wheel pulses?

No. I figure it will have dual outputs that will vary between 0 and 5 volts.

I've been playing around with arduino and have thought of a practical application for it.

I've live in a particularly hilly area and windy roads. A few months ago I drove a friends car to my place and was so impressed that the headlights turned as I went through corners. I figure it couldn't be too difficult driving lights to do the same. Rotating base is easy enough. They could be pushed by small servos. I f figure if I could the left light to the right and the right light to the left ill be set. But I need to find an input. angle sensor would be perfect but I'm guessing an input balance monitor on the front wheels would have a similar Effect

Where under the centre console? While I haven't looked for one I can't recall seeing anything similar. One fed from the steering wheel directly would be awesome.

My car is a 90... so fancy things like traction isn't available but i do have abs.

              Series 2 90s got abs/active trc
Its directly under the armrest bolted to the body but if series 1Body you wont have the mounting points i found this out i overcome that by welding couple of mounts for the sensor to console mount
