  • OBD2 can't connect

    First off, I have a 2000 model, 3.4l V6 Prado.
I have had a high idle problem and want to check fault codes. I have tried connecting two different scan tools but they fail to connect. I have connected both scan tools to a mates Prado and the connect no problem. I have checked the OBDII 7.5 amp fuse under the bonnet and it has power both sides. Has anyone had this issue and managed to sort the problem?

    Cheers, Biff

the quick check I did it would appear it isn't?

No Australian Prado 90 series is OBD2 compliant. Even the early 120s are not.
