No cooling from front vents and no heating from rear vents.

You just need a plain thin wire one side on 12v battery the other end on the ac pump electric plug when it is unplugged
To remove the evaporator you only need a small flat screw driver and a 10mm socket, it comes out from inside the cabin after to glovebox is removed

Put power to the ac pump directly bypassing everything the front ac should blow cold then if it doesn't then id say its the tx valve they have a very small hole through them that blocks up with crap then the refrigerant dosnt flow through so no cold

I could not understand that how to put ac pump bypassing everything?

And Kindly tell me what tools I need to disconnect ac lines from evaporator?

The tx valve is inside of the evaporator box it cant be inspected needs the system evacuated then the evaporator removed and stripped down its always a good idea to replace the tx and the reciever drier when the system is open

My Toyota Prado 1997 TZ has dual ac system.

For quite sometime ac was not cooling so I evacuate the system and refill it.

Now I am not getting cold air from front vents but the rear vents getting cold when ac is on. When I turn the heater on, hot air is not coming from rear vents.

Somehow, I know its actuator door blend problem. But when I move temperature control nob, I can see one actutator driverside underdash is moving. This very temperature control nob also changes air flow mode. I dont know why.

The ac button and mode button work only after pressing very hard and repeatedly.

What could be causes and where I should look for ? I have no manuals


I would appreciate a lot if you guys help me.
