Hi all.
Wondering if anyone has had similar problems.
My Prado struggles to start on cold mornings , I have replaced the genuine toyota glow plugs ( the ones with the little nipple on the end) as 3 of them weren't working, with genuine NGK 11V glow plugs . Starting is still hard on cold mornings. All of the electrics such as power and earth are good . the only think that does'nt make any sense is the fact that the timer only stays on for about a second regardless of outside temp.
Is there a outside temp sensor that determines how long the glow plugs should stay on, or is it controlled in the ecu? Is there a way of checking this circuit?
Any info greatly appreciated.
Regards Bryan.
