Diesel Fuel Tank Cleaning Process?

Hi all,

Pardon me if this thread is already discussed.

I want to know if anybody went through the process of diesel fuel tank cleaning on his/her prado?

diesel tank often gets rust, water and gunk inside. So this process should be included in periodic maintenance.

what you guys suggest about this ?

Not saying it cant rust but diesel is an oil and with constant splashing around coating the insides of the tank i cant ever see it rusting

No. They generally stay clean.

No diesel tank does not get rust. No it's not periodic maintenance, it's a repair if you unlikely get water & algae.

I suggest you put a 7mm flow reduction plate in for your egr system & get a fresh set of injectors, no power upgrades.
Then drive!

Actually I was going through this youtube video and I thought does my vehicle worth this process to remove biocontamination, sludge and algae from tank.
