    DIY LPG tuning

After reading from the LPG tuning gurus in these links, I now suggest leaving the converter (ie sensitivity and idle mixture) settings alone and only screwing in the large gas restrictor screw on the low pressure pipe just until performance is impacted.

Best to leave the mixture settings to a garage with an oxygen sensor to get them right. Perhaps the large screw at the bottom of your converter needs to be removed to let the sludge out? Again your garage should confirm. Let us know how you went.

An easy way to reduce fuel consumption is to not run the motor!!!!

Sorry, but no, no, no. Over 7 different vehicles (sedans, vans & 4WDs) on LPG (all Mixer Systems) I've never had more than a 10-20% increase in LPG consumption over petrol usage, UNLESS the motor is just plain worn out. This may be the OP's issue, unfortunately. If LPG consumption were normally 40-50% higher than petrol, there'd be no point in converting to LPG, running costs would be pretty much the same.

              Hi guys
Sorry if this is to late for some of you but Iam only new to pp. Just thinking that the problems you are having is possible not related to the tune of the gas system, but related to the ecu ignition.
90 series have a ecu that if it pick any engine pinging ( rattle at low rpm / high load) will retard timing dramatically. The ecu will advance the timing but very slow. Can take up to 5000km. I've had this problem before with a bad batch of fuel, but it did get better using high octain fuel. I know you guys are talking about gas but it will have the same effect. Maybe a good reason to go for a long trip up the cape or something like that.
              All the best Kris
