Can someone please let me know the part number for genuine Toyota oil filter for 5VZ-FE? I being getting 90915-YZZD2 (about $21 with GST) from the dealership. According to

part number is 90915-20001.
What is the difference between 90915-YZZD1 and 90915-YZZD2 filters?
Can some one shed some light?

Don't worry about going genuine, use ryco filters (they make the genuine ones anyway), Oil - Z418, Air - A1397, Fuel - Z383, if auto trans - RTK140 to do the filter in it. They are cheaper

Ryco filters have been part of the automotive landscape for decades in Oz - safe to use, they are not cheap aftermarket filters as found in the US - most of those aftermarket brands are not even available here.....

Your engine will be safe using Ryco filters

90915-20001 is the Japanese part number
90915-YZZD2 is the Australian part number
Both of these are the same filter, just manufactured in different places.

I didn't know Ryco filters were made in Thailand or Japan, because depending on the part number this is where Toyota filters are made. Filter part number ending D2 is a Thai manufactured filter. Aren't Ryco filters Australian made??

I bought a Ryco Z418 a few years ago for friends Avalon. The filter was made in PRC (China). Not sure if Ryco have changed suppliers since. It has swarth in the threads. This put me off aftermarket oil and main fuel filters.
