Computer Reset?

Hi Guys'
Got a 2001 tx turbo diesel'
All the dash lights are on,no cruise control, and the speedo does not work and I have been told that the computer which runs it has to be reset with the correct numbers?
Anyone know how to do this or no someone who can do it?
I live in Sydney.

Generally if you disconnect the battery for 30 minutes or so
it will cause all the ECU to restart.

I would not have thought you could reset the instrument panel ECU
by command but I could be wrong.

If it is the engine ECU thats causing the problem hopefully the battery
disconnect will clear it else you will need a diagnostic tool.
